My Ohana visited us hear on the big island. Seven grandchildren, 6 there, and 3 daughters that produced them all. Their first experience to offer Tutu Pele a gift of gratitude and to mele E Ho'i Mai sparked this rainbow directly behind us and the sun came out. They all had the story of their lives to produce their paths.

Aloha to all.  I was born and raised on the  the islands and are of Kanaka Moali descent. My Hawaiian Ohana are from Maui and my Portuguese Ohana were raised on Pico in the Azures. Portugal. I am an Anthropologist and a retired teacher for Special Ed, math, writing and World Science. My teaching began with 2yr old's then to middle school The Science and Nature Center in Austin, Tx for a Cultural Arts Instructor that included animals in my presentations. I became a MUFON investigator and a Red Cross volunteer for 18 years.
For me, writing is the  manufacturing of my memories and the changing of the world  by the past and present times.  Knowledge is power as a Kupuna sharing the knowledge with the power for the future generations is my finished product.  I write to endeavor word products  that pick up the heartrate and calms the soul. The product then lends spark to encourage the flow like our Tutu Pele. The production of words is the flow. Aloha
